Dan relocated back to Atlanta in 2001, fulfilling a twenty five year dream to return to the city that kept Georgia on his mind. Dan had left Atlanta to take control of sales and marketing for Dillard's and Lord and Taylor's specialty salons in Dallas. After increasing the business seven fold, Dan was transferred to San Francisco to manage the marketing of the salons in the Neiman Marcus chain. A sales opportunity with West Coast Beauty Supply and Reid and Sibel Beauty Supply resulted in a promotion to Vice President of Sales where Dan managed a sales force of forty five sales representatives.

After twenty five years of retail management experience, Dan formed his own company, a multi-store chain of salons and retail beauty centers in San Francisco and Oakland. Dan credits the success of his company to his ability to listen and understand the needs of individual clients and to respond directly to those needs. Customer service was the base he built both his business and reputation on in the bay area. A loyal and repeat client base grew his company over a fifteen year period. The sale of his company afforded him the opportunity to return to his favorite city.
