After graduating from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire with a degree in Theater Arts, I began a career in the airline industry with Delta Air Lines. As in real estate, customer service is the single-most important differentiating factor in the airline industry. After 27 years with Delta, I carry the philosophy and knowledge of services with me into the area of real estate. As your agent, my responsibilities include more than just showing or listing your home; I will be your real estate service consultant throughout the entire process.
I came to Atlanta in 1983 and settled in Midtown shortly thereafter. I embarked on a residential renovation project (commonly called a “fixer-upper”) at the same time that the entire neighborhood was being revived. I witnessed firsthand the revitalization of this historic intown neighborhood as I renovated my house and raised my family.
As I see it now, the Atlanta intown neighborhoods make up the most culturally appealing residential area in the entire southeast. Access to theater, sporting events, concerts, and fine dining exists within a short walk or drive from these communities. I relish the fact that when compared to most other comparable urban housing, these areas are still very affordable.
With my personal experience in renovation, I understand the difficult choices made when buying investment, as well as residential property. In real estate, values often run more than skin deep. As Atlanta matures, its intown neighborhoods become more desirable and its urban population becomes more sophisticated. As a specialist in the intown real estate market, I am eager to match buyers and sellers in mutually beneficial transactions. I am committed to achieving the best possible return for the buyers or sellers I represent.
Within my team, The Dean’s List, I head up the division called “Transitions.” This is a specialized section of our team devoted entirely to serving the many transitional needs of senior citizens.
