neighborhood year­round that include the annual Halloween kids’ parade and Lake Claire’s Home and Garden tour. Residents enjoy having award winning schools in their area including Mary Lin Elementary, Inman Middle, and Henry W. Grady High School.

Contrary to its name, there is no lake in the area. Lake Claire’s name is derived from a gardening club that created the name by combining Lakeshore Drive and Claire Drive. Located minutes from the Candler Park MARTA Station this accessible neighborhood is a short distance from popular shopping destinations such as Little Five Points, Edgewood, Downtown Decatur and Candler Park.
