EcoBroker, Associate Broker
Diana Refsland is an owner and Associate Broker at Atlanta Intown Real Estate Services. She has been in real estate in Atlanta since the 1980's and has devoted her career to the intown market. Over the last twenty years she has specialized in selling single family homes, condominiums and investment property -- especially apartment buildings.
In 1996, she and her real estate partner, Mary Beth Wallace, formed Atlanta Intown Real Estate Services -- a full service real estate brokerage company. Atlanta Intown is independent and focused on helping individual clients with their individual real estate needs. She and Mary Beth have helped their company grow from five agents in 1996 to forty five agents in 2003. They pride themselves with the excellent knowledge, professionalism and commitment that their company and their agents have in representing their clients.
In 2008, Diana completed her eco-certification training and has become a member of EcoBrokers International. With this training, she, along with other agents at Atlanta Intown, are able to assist buyers and sellers in making eco-conscious decisions in the purchase and/or sale of their homes.
In addition to being committed to Atlanta's intown real estate growth, Diana has been committed to Atlanta's preservation, specifically neighborhood and park preservation. She has been very active in her neighborhood and community organizations and has played a major role in Friends of Piedmont Park -- a grass roots organization seeking to preserve Piedmont Park. She also has devoted herself to her home community, serving as Board member and President of its condominium association for many years.
Prior to her real estate career, Diana was a tenured college professor in Sociology at Spelman College in Atlanta. She was raised in Montana and completed her graduate work at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
