Kathryn Mehl

Born into a family with a tremendous case of wanderlust and a seasoned taste for adventure, Kathryn Mehl spent most of her early life traveling the United States, but really found her home in Georgia circa 1994.

Having spent many of her formative years in the Metro Atlanta area, Kathryn has a deep affection for the culture, people and distinctive flavor the city, and the South, has to offer. She has always had a passion for the antebellum architecture found deep within the city. She is also deeply committed to the preservation of the current homes in the city so that they can be used and enjoyed in modernity and for years to come.

Kathryn spent her college years both in Metro Atlanta and Macon receiving an A.A. in Anthropology from Georgia Perimeter College in 2003 and a B.A. in Anthropology emphasis in Archaeology from Mercer University in 2006. Having spent so much of her adult life static in academia, she let her wanderlust and true artist's spirit guide her for the next few years. In that time, she spent time in Ireland completing field school for archaeology and working domestically as an archaeological field technician. She also found her second love, East Bay in San Francisco, while pursuing her MFA in Fine Art at the Academy of Art. After all was said and done, Kathryn found herself back in Atlanta, close to friends and family working hard to build a photography studio and thinking of what the future held.

It was, however, in this cross-country move to the Bay Area that Kathryn began to think about the possibility of entering into real estate in an investor capacity. While searching for her new family home, she realized that her skill set did indeed lend itself to a career real estate.

She started her career in real estate with the intention of bringing her own flair to the scene. Honest to a fault, hard-working and creative, she finds herself working with buyers across the spectrum from first-time home buyers to seasoned investors. She firmly believes that working together and building a good foundation for the agent/client relationship are the keys to any successful real estate transaction.

Kathryn brings her sense of and deep connection with people, appreciation of culture and adventurous spirit with her into every transaction. She truly takes all of the needs of her clients as a personal challenge: she doesn't want to find you a home - she wants to find you THE home.
