199 14th St NE
Constructed as a high rise premium apartment complex in 1992, The Mayfair Tower was purchased by Crescent Heights Development and converted to a condominium property. The 35 story building (323 units) is a mix of one, two and three bedroom residences including four tower two level Penthouse units. There is some interesting history between the Mayfair Tower and the adjoining Mayfair Renaissance property which was built in 2002 by the same developer, Crescent Heights. The original owners of the South facing (Downtown views) were charged a premium for their units without it being disclosed that the other building was going to be erected. It led to some back and forth litigation between the respective buildings and the developer (long since resolved). The buildings amenities include a clubroom, fitness center, library and 24/7 concierge. The building has a multi-level parking deck for resident parking, but very limited guest parking. The Mayfair Tower is just a block away from Piedmont Park and the Art’s Center Marta station.
